Lessons with Timothy Lee Kirschenmann Jr are based out of Monrovia CA (near Los Angeles).

Tim personally offers lessons and seminars for:

• All saxophones, classical, jazz and modern

• Piano/Vocals: Worship leader training

• Beginner Recorder and Irish Tin Whistle (great for preparing for a wind instrument)

• Beginner to Intermediate Flute

• Beginner Piano (please note: my program is not classical training, but prep for working with worship teams)

• Piano for Contemporary Worship Services: Learning to play melodies and chord charts, also unto composition

• Soloing/Improvisation - Wind Instruments: Teaching chord theory and exercising skills appropriate for developing soloing skills.

• Play and Music Classes (stay tuned! - toddler/pre-school)​

Lessons are available:​

• At my home in Monrovia.

• At student's/parent's choice, such as at their home. Travel fee applies. First 10 minutes of travel is free.

• There are other churches I can teach out of around the Greater Los Angeles area. Additional fee may apply.

 

My approach in teaching is to help students grow in their musical calling by building on strengths, and stretching them gently but surely unto being able to minister in greater ways and opportunities (by way of being ready for diversities of outlets of ministry).

Rates are $12.50/15 minutes (recommend 45 minutes for ages 14+), plus travel fee when relevant (at $30/hr driving time). I do not currently require a contract with students.
